I am Sarthak, a hardworking graduate pursuing my Master's in Data Science at Northeastern University. I have a passion for data science and machine learning and have gained knowledge in these technologies through academic courses such as Machine learning and Data Mining, as well as completing the Deep Learning Specialization on Coursera.
I have created land use maps using QGIS and the Support Vector Machine algorithm, which have received praise for their average accuracy of 88%. Additionally, I have diverse experience in my portfolio, including scraping web data to analyze urban development and creating an android application to forecast temperature. In my recent internship, I led a project in aspect-based sentiment analysis and sentence categorization, achieving an accuracy of 89% with an SVM model.
I received a scholarship from the state for my hard work during high school, which covered my undergraduate tuition. I am also diligent and consistent, as demonstrated by co-founding and maintaining an ACM Student Chapter named MUACM at my undergraduate university. I have a research-oriented mindset, as evidenced by my two publications in renowned conferences and my profile at Medium. My contributions to open source softwares and academic projects have honed my skills in teamwork.
